Our monarchy needs to change as part of the process of national renewal, which is essential if Britain is to meet the challenges of the new world order.

Henceforth it must reflect and support the values of our modern, more meritocratic society, where birth and privilege are subordinate to individual effort and ability - and where both rewards and respect are earned, not received as of right. In conjunction with this, there is a requirement for the monarchy to be more accountable to Parliament and the people – and for it to be more open in its dealings.

The six points constitute a Manifesto for achieving the above objectives
